Installing w2k and domain name confusing

I wonder if someone can explain it.
When I istall w2k AD (from SBS2000) I have to type domain
name:
e.g. toronto.
Then I have to type registered domain:
e.g. microsoft.com

When I create new user in AD Users, it adds automatically
@toronto.microsoft.com ??? and I am not able to change it.
I want it to be @microsoft.com

Is it a way to change it?

Yes, you create an additional UPN suffix for your domain through AD Domains
and Trusts. Then select the alternate suffix.
