Installing VS .NET 2003 Academic on 2 Machines

can i do this? it seems as if this version of vs .net has that whole
activation thing....

i assume that prevents me from installing it on 2 boxes at the same time,
correct?

Let me know if you get an asnwer to this one - I have
posted the same query on several discussion sites and
there has not been a response after several days.

The academic version is indeed protected with Product Activation.
You cannot install it on two machines using the Activate over the
Internet option. However, if you use the telephone activation option
on the second machine, and if you're persuasive enough, you might
convince MS that you're moving your installation from the first to
the second computer.
