I moved 100% to Vista in Feb and after a month moved back to XP due to all
sorts of compatibility issues and all that, now 3 months on has there been
any major changes to the windows updates that will make me move to Vista
again?

Is it true that the Business version will perform better than Ultimate?

cheers

Hi Clayton,

I can only speak for Vista Business ( 64bit ) but it works great. Other than
some cosmetic changes that one has to get used to I have found it without
fault.
I do know that many out there will say different, but as I said I can only
comment about my copy.

SP1 is supposed to be out about Q4 - I'd wait until then.

I doubt it. I'm personally happy with it, but if you didn't like it
then, you won't like it any better now.

No, not at all. Performance will be identical. The difference between
the two has to do with the feature set, not performance.

This is my desktop computer I'm talking about, Dell Dimension 8300, seems
not as bad as having it installed on my Toshiba Tecra M5 notebook, the
notebook is proberly the worse one considering I have installed all the
drivers and applications Toshiba has released for Vista.
I'm not blaming anyone or pointing fingers, but when I moved to Windows 2000
to XP I didn't really have any problems

I think at some stage over the last few months someone from Toshiba said
that my notebook is Vista capable but said only for Home edition not
Business or Ultimate, I said what the!!! Vista is Vista it either works or
it doesn't, I also said you have released drivers and applications for Vista
and they are not segregated into different version of Vista.
