Hi,
some advice please, I installed Vista and used it for a few days, then I
upgraded the bios (Mobo Gigabyte GA-M61P- S3), the upgrade went ok, but
after I shut the Computer, I restarted it the next day and got the following
error message on a blue screen, whilst
rebooting Vista, and cannot access the OS.
***STOP: 0x0000005c (0x000001B,0x00000003,0x00000000,0x00000000),
any ideas how to fix it please, your advice and help is appreciated. I know
I should have saved the old bios but I never. I can still boot up to WinXp
ok (using a rack)
Regards

Your bios most likely reverted to default settings. Check your bios and
ensure that your boot devices are correct.

Several hits suggest the problem may be BIOS related. Load defaults,
disable shadowing, fast writes and caching. Save and exit.

If the above fails, consider reverting to the old BIOS version as newer
is not necessarily better.
