Installing updates that were cancelled or failed

I had a problem while installing sp2 and some other updates and now some
things on my computer aren't working. When I run windows update it doesn't
show that I have to install anything but the update history shows that they
aren't completely installed...what do I do to get them installed? Please
help!

Thanks, I looked through the newsgroups but they don't seem to be having more
specific problems. My main one is that my usb drives aren't hi-speed anymore
since I reinstalled windows...they were before. The updates were essentially
cancelled during install and now I need to re-install the ones that didn't
get done completely like service pack 2.
