installing/uninstalling program

Windows XP home ed.
I have been compelled to install/uninstall some program (confounded Nero)
three times. Could this installing/uninstalling do a any negative influence
on Windows system stability??

Short answer: Not really.
However, you may want to defrag the drive/s the other day.

Hi

Unfortunately no uninstall process is perfect. Certain files and Registry
entries are not uninstalled. Normally re-installing/uninstalling X program
shouldn't do any harm to your system, but try Defragmenting your hard
disk/partition.

Hmm, I have used so called "General-Clean Tool" Nero's utility to make
clean uninstall (that clean also registry entries, I hope). Or its better to
do this use Windows add/remove programs?

Anybody know where to get Nero Express without bundled with additional
programs- "Nero Burning ROM Demo" (I dont need to have a double programs
installed, I need only Nero Express, since have Nero Express license only.
How I can get away this Nero 6 Demo which installs as promo? Is there only
Nero Express separate package?
