How do I install Windows XP to a PC with only SATA hard disk drives and, like
most modern pcs, no floppy drive? Is there a way I can make the windows
installer look at the CD rom for the SATA drivers instead of looking for a
floppy? The windows installer finds no hard drives and quits.

If the north bridge support the sata, you can go to the bios, and disable the
sata raid, then you can install the windowsxp. If you has install a pci sata
card, you have to install the sata driver. If no floppy, you can make a winxp
installer CD which integrated sata driver.
