Installing SP2

I have a problem when updating from XP SP1 to XP SP2. Durring the install
everything goes fine, but when my computer restarts after installing
everything goes wrong. Durring the reboot when it reaches the Windows XP
start-up logo it just restarts, there is an error message but i can't read it
before it restarts. But i can boot into safe mode just fine. Because i was
getting frustrated and couldn't figure out the problem i just uninstalled SP2
and rolled back to SP1 from safe mode. But now that i heard that MS will stop
supporting XP SP1 in October 06 i really want to install SP2. Could this be a
hardware or software problem? My system specs are listed below.

Thanks,

Tim

Next time something similar happens, you will be able to read the error.

Depending on the error, the cause could be anything, hardware or software
related.

Is the computer ready for SP-2:
