installing sp2 on Toshiba sattelite 1200-s121

after installing sp2 I can't get the explorer to run
non of the file managers is working
the internet explorer is not running
I'm not getting any error masages
In safe mode everythink is working

Did you apply the Toshiba SP2 compatibility patches before installing
SP2? I believe there were 4 or 5 of them for a client's Toshiba.
