Installing SP2 Error

I recently had to repair XP Home on my PC, I am now trying to install SP2
but keep getting an error of:

"Setup cannot copy the file wmplayer.chm" (Where wmplayer.chm varies with
each time I try and install SP2)

I am then asked to browse for the file, but for some reason it is never able
to copy the file.

What is causing this? its driving me crazy as I can't find much information
on Google relating to this.

Try doing a System File Check. Go to Start>Run type: sfc
/scannow
 
Thanks for the reply, I had already ran the check though and it found no
problems.
 
What version WinMediaPlayer are you using. Try removing it by going to
Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs.
