installing service pack 3 for ie

When trying to install

Encoding/ More / Chinese Simplified

it says please load Service Pack 3.

Service pack 3 is already installed for
windows 2000.

any ideas?

Hi dk,

Try uninstalling SP-3 and then re-installing the service pack again. Be sure
that ALL applications and other windows and firewall are closed/ disabled
before re-installing. The initial download of SP-3 was probably corrupted by
something. This has worked for me in very similar circumstances.
