Installing Programs

Iam trying to install a version of quick books which is an accounting
software this worked fine on my xp machine but when i try to install it on my
vista machine i get an error cant access font registry can anyone help

Only the very latest version of Intuit QuickBooks is compatible with Vista.
The earlier versions do not function.
