installing Outlook 2003 with MS Home and Student 2007

I own MS Office from 2003 that includes Outlook. When I ordered a new
computer recently, it came with MS Home and Student 2007 that does NOT
include Outlook. I need to sync my palm with an i-phone via Outlook. Is it
possible to install ONLY Outlook from my old 2003 MS cd that came with my old
computer? I am hesitant to put the disk in because I don't want to mess up my
2007 Office on the new computer. Thank you.

What OS is installed and what sync software will you use? Vista includes
sync software that works with Vista Mail (the new OE) if it supports your
devices and you don't have another need for Outlook.

I have Palm OS for my current PDA, and I have Windows Vista on my computer. I
am planning on getting either a Blackberry Curve or an i-Phone to combine my
pda and phone... I am unaware of the Vista Mail. And, I have no actual 'sync'
software at this time, but all of the programs I have looked at said I must
have Outlook to sync between palm and other sources. I appreciate any
information or suggestions.

New PCs usually come only with a TRIAL version of an Office 2007 suite,
unless you specifically paid for a licensed version. Why not uninstall the
trial version and install your original Office?
