installing Office97 on Windows XP

I have tried to install Office97 on my computer. The CD
ROM will not even allow the disk to log on. It
automaticly ejects the CD. Can it be installed on Windows

Yes it can. However, it sound like you have other problems with the CD ROM
drive.

Office 97 will run just fine under WinXP. Please tell us exactly what
happens when you try to install it. If the drive is ejecting the CD
(is that what you're trying to say?) I'd assume there is something
physically wrong with the disk.
