installing office home student

just bought this program(office home student 2007) and my laptop don't
recognize installation cd...have tried several other install cd's and they
work fine...my cd drive just can't see this one for some reason. i am running
vista and this is authinic microsoft cd bought from staples. can anyone help

Take it back to Staples. It's probably a damaged CD.

Note that this forum is for the database program Microsoft Access, not for
general computer problems, and that we're all volunteers; Microsoft doesn't
(visibly) monitor this group.
