Installing Office 2000 Standard new PC w/Windows XP Home Edition

I just purchased a new HP with AMD Athlon Xp 2800+,
Microsoft WIndows XP Home Edition.

I had purchased Microsoft Office 2000 Standard for another
computer. I would like to install Word, Excel and
Powerpoint from Office 2000 on my new PC.

Is Office 2000 Standard and Windows XP Home Edition
compatable?
