Installing NetBeui on win2000

I have installed the NetBeui protocol on a win2000 machine with sp4
but when i try to connect to another pc the following message appear:
"The specified server cannot execute the requested operation"

Can anyone help me?

You don't really need Netbeui.
How are you connecting to the other machine? What OS on that other machine?
Are they both in the same workgroup? Is File and printersharing loaded?
