installing MS office 2000 premium

Last phase of installation I get pop up saying, "outlook
has caused an error in OM19.DLL out look will now close".
This is followed by another saying, "cannot start MS
outlook. A required component is missing: OM19.DLL".
I am using Windows ME. I am relatively unskilled.
The MS office 2000 premium would not open e-mail. I
uninstalled and tried to reinstall. This is when I got the
problem. I did a recovery on my windows ME and tried to
install again with no success. Thanks for any help.
