I am having problems getting Vista to install Microsoft digital Image
Anniversary Edition 2006 which does say it is compatible with Vista. Nothing
happens when I insert the installation CD. Nor will it allow me to run:
d:\setup.exe. Says it can'tfind the program. Help!

==================================
DIS 2006 will install and run on Vista...and
there is a compatibility update:

(Not required for the Anniversary Edition)

Sounds like you may have a bad installation
disk. If you can explore the disks...try copying
all the files to a folder on your desktop and try
clicking setup.exe. Also you could try copying
the disks and install from the copies.

If you continue to have issues...have a .look

Installation has been successful. It helps to remember that my CD drive is
no longer "d" but "e". Entering e:\setup.exe worked quite well. I'm just
spoiled because I usually see an Installation Wizard automatically. Thank you
for your response.
