Installing itunes

Trying to install itunes to burn CDs but keep getting
message 'The application DLL C:\WINNt\System32
\QuickTime.qts is not a valid windows image please check
this against your installation diskette' I do not have a
diskette and as I am a novice cannot understand what I
have to do, please can anyone help ? Thanks
 
Sounds like you have a corrupted file.
If you downloaded it, then download it again.
If its on a CD, then you'll have to obtain a replacement CD.
