I was installing IIS and I received the message "Can not copy
connect.asp." I looked for the file but I could not find it anywhere.
Ando so I installed IIS without that particular file. Do I really need
this to create web application? Also, what does the message mean?

You may find a better answer here
news://news.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.inetserver.iis

William:
I looked up the site but it is not coming up in google. Is that the
exact site? Also, can you give me some opinions as to what it means to
you.

If you are using a newsreader like Outlook Express, the newsgroup will
work correctly, I do not use Google Groups as a news reader. If you
click on the link, this will activate your default newsreader, probably
OE and bring you to the IIS forum.

I would say, your CD may be damaged or dirty. Have you tried cleaning
the CD?

William:

Sorry but I don't use outlook express. The cd is brand new. Do you get
that message?

Hi William

PMFJI

Is it possible to get to
news://news.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.inetserver.iis through the web
interface, the same way I found this thread, rather than through Outlook
Express or similar programs? If so, could you please explain how to get
there?

Thanks

Wilbour
