Is there an easy approach to installing Exchange Server 2003 than dcpromo? I
cannot get pass the forestprep command.

DCPromo has nothing to do with Exchange installation. Try posting in
microsoft.public.exchange.admin for more help, and provide a *lot* more
detail -
