Installing dos on a win 2000 laptop

Is it possible to install dos on to a laptop that has
already had win 2000 installed on it?
 
the version of DOS built into Win2000 can be accessed from
the Start menu, under programs, accessories, command
prompt.
 
You may want to consider getting one of those USB memory keys - if your laptop
can be made to boot from a USB device, it is possible to make (at least some)
memory keys bootable, and put DOS on it. Then you don't need to change
anything on your hard drive at all - just put in the memory key when you want
to boot to DOS. I have used a utility that I downloaded from DELL to make the
key bootable.
