installing data analysis tool pack

I need to use the data analysis tool pack on excel. When I try to install it
an error 1311 comes up and says that the source cannot be found. Can anyone
help me figure out how to install it?? I reinstalled Excel into my computer
and am still having trouble. Please help.

Hi:

I am not sure of the exact sequence, but the analysis toolpak needs to be installed
from the Office CD. So if the message says "source not found" you need to have
the Office CD in the same drive that you installed from. Either that or browse
to it (I seem to remember a button on the right that allowed you to browse to
it.)

This type of problem is the reason I usually copy the entire cd to a directory
on the hard drive and do a custom "install run all.." from that directory. When you
run office update etc. it never asks for the CD again.

i too have tried to install the same thing. i put the Microsoft Office small
business Edition 2003. I tried to browse, and could not find it. does the
Microsoft office small business edition have the full Excel edition?
is that why i could not install the Add Inn tool Pack?
