Installing certificate authority

Hello,

how do I install a certificate authority under WinXP prof so that I can
issue my own e-mail etc. certificates and public/private keys? I know
how to do it under Win2k, but I can't find this option under WinXP. Thanks.

certificate services is only available on the server edition SKUs.

So does this mean I need to install either Win2k server or advanced
server or Win2003 Server? I have normal WinXP prof. bought with my
computer and MSDN. Or is there any download that will install
certificate services to my WinXP Prof.?

There is NO Certificate Services for Windows XP.

No, I am sorry, cert services is an advanced feature that requires purchase
of a server SKU as you describe.
