Installing another domain controller in same domain

Dear Friends;
I am again sending my problem.
Scenerio
I install win2000 server in a computer, run active
directory wizard and created a new domain
(domain.microsoft.com). the domain was created.
Than I install win2000 server in an other computer and
want to make it a child domain/additional domain
controller/replication partner/like bdc of NT4 environment.
when I run the active directory wizard, select additional
domain controller and click next it asks me the username,
password and domain name. I entered the first domain
name "administrator"(username, enter its password and the
domain name (domain) click next then it asks me the full
DNS name, I entered "domain.microsoft.com" but it gives me
the following error message:

"The domain 'domain.microsoft.com' cannot be contacted.
Select a different domain (If this domain was recently
created, its name may not yet be registered with the
domain naming service).

Please help me out asap

Hello boys

before creating the second dc in Windows 2000 your should
delegate (usin DNS service administrator program) the
administration and creation of the child domain.
