Installing Activesync 4.1

I know this might not be the correct place for this question, but I could
find any other topic that fits.
I bought a Qtek 9100 mobile phone and the software that is used to sync the
phone with my PC is Activesync. I have downloaded 4.1 and am trying to
install it but I keep getting an error message just have starting setup.exe.
Message is:
The wizard was interrupted before microsoft Activesync 4.1 ccould be
completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete
installation at another time, please run setup again.
Click finish to exit the wizard.

I have the log if anyone can help.

Thank you for the pointers but they weren't much help.
anyway I solved it. I have Office 2003 Pro installed and as I dont use
Outlook,
it turns out that Activesync needs to have Outlook configured. I configured
it to
use one of my temp emails so I could just sync the phone.
