INSTALLING 95-98 PROGRAMS

I am not able to intall any program that is is not XP labled. Why not??
How can I intall them or do I need to buy all new programs....

You need to use the Program Compatibility Wizard , start / all programs
/ accessories / Program Compatibility Wizard ... It worked for me with
older programs ..... Total

Sorry, your question doesn't have enough detail for a "plain
English answer." All I can supply are some plain English
questions.

Specifically what programs are you trying to install? What does
"I am not able to install" mean? What happens when you try? If
you get an error message, please quote it verbatim.

Most programs work but some don't. Try looking in Help and Support under
"Compatibility mode"

I put the disk in and go to setup / or install - press enter - the program starts and then goes back ot my set up promt. nothing was insalled.

Look in Help & Support for "compatibility mode". Since you provided no
useful information about the program(s), that's the best I can do.
