installin a new HDD

I recently bought and installed a EIDE HDD, not what do I
have to do to have win xp pro. recognize and work with my
other NTFS HDD?

As long as the BIOS recognizes it correctly, startup the PC and then after
XP is running, right click on My Computer and select Manage.

On the following screen, click on Disk Management. The new drive should
appear on the right hand side of the screen and from here you can partition
it, format it and assign it a drive letter. Now it will appear in Windows
Explorer.
