installed xp twice on same partition

I messed up on the reinstall of XP on my system. I have xp
professional installed twice on c drive and now when i
boot it asks to pick one. All the old files are still on
the pc with a fresh version of xp over them. I would like
to have just the one installed and the pc back to original
state any help would be greatly appreciated.
