Installed XP SP2 and now can't connect to the web

I took the risk and installed SP2 on one of my PCs and now
I can't connect to the internet via my cable modem.

The cable modem is fine, I can connect via another PC
through my router.

If I run IPCONFIG /all I have an IP address, Gateway, and
DNS servers from my router. So my internet card appears
to be functioning on my XP machine. But I can't connect
to anything (via ping, IE, anything).

Any ideas? I would hate to uninstall SP2 after going
through all of this.

Nevermind. I dug out the floppy that came with my card
and downleveled the driver with the one on the disk. It
now works fine.

I tried this suggestion from PA Bear and it solved the problem for me.
