Installed SP2 - Cannot get to the internet

Perplexed

After installing SP2 I cannot get to the internet. I have
turned the SP2 firewall off. I have replaced my router
with a switch. I have removed the router and switch and
connected directly to the LAN. I have tried multiple
flavors of NIC cards. I have tried installing from Windows
Update and the network install. I have tried a fresh
install. It has to be a configuration issue, right? The
good news is SP2 uninstalls like a champ. I want SP2
without the firewall. Anybody have any suggestions? It has
to be something simple. Thanks.

I have the same problem you have. I had 2 messages:
firewall installed and disabled

I finally found a spot where it asks for WEP key. I keyed
my WEP key and finally removed the SP2 firewall.

But the wireless network connection is still disabled. I
tried to reconnect, enable, etc, etc but still no luck.

Let me know if you figured it out yet!
