Installed fonts do not appear in applications

Hello,

I have many fonts installed on my computer, however, when
I open up an application (i.e. Word) and attempt to apply
the font to my text, the font is not available. I have
tried re-installing the font a few times, and still - no
luck. Can anyone tell me how I can have my font appear in
the list, activate the font, etc....? I am desperately
trying to figure this out so I can move forward on my
project. I am trying to convert a print document I
received and if I don't use a specific font, I will have
to start over. I would greatly appreciate any info on this.

Also you can check the default printer is not set to generic/text only.
