installation

ok first i installed battlefield1942, and i used a
friends cd key so when i got home i uninstalled it to
reinstall it with my cd key. so far so good, however i
had updated windows after uninstalling it and now
whenever i try to install battlefield i get "Specified
component cannot be found in the media. an attempt was
made to access a coponent that does not exist in that
media", can someone help me?

nevermind i fixed it, if anyone else has this problem use
add remove programs to add it
