My friend has Win-XP Chinese, English & Japanese on three
partitions on his PC, each partition has one version. Now he
needs to remove two, only English version remains. Is it OK
just log on to English version and format C: & E: in order to
remove the other two OS?

Thanks for your urgent reply.

IF format C: THEN computer no longer boots!

Boot to WinXP_EN and just delete the folders & files related to
WinXP_CN and WinXP_JP...

you cannot format the C: drive

but if you leave the "boot" files you can delete the rest
