Installation Problems

Hi All...

I'm having a problem installing software on my W2K Pro machine. Any program
that uses an *.MSI file fails to install with a cannot find file or device
specified error message. This is getting really annoying because I can't
install my AV package (among other things). Does anyone have any idea how to
fix this problem?

I'm running W2K Pro with an Asus m/b, intel P3 1gHz, 512 mb ram and there is
about 1.7 gb on the system drive and 1 gb on the target drive. Help???
