Installation over VB6

Hello. I am hoping to start using VB.Net soon. Before I do this I am
concerned that I will disrupt my VB 6 and have trouble with my existing
applications. Is this a problem or am I being overly anal.

VB6 and VB.Net will coexist peacefully on your system

It does on my computer, but I have heard that there are sometimes
problems when using VB6's data environment after installing VS.NET.
