Installation of Security updates

For the last couple of days my automatic updates is trying to download the
latest security updates for Outlook, Excel, and Junk email filters.
It downloads fine, but will not install. I have tried to find out why but
get lost when I try to review the download history. If anybody could help me
discover why this is happening I would be appreciative.

Are you talking about Windows Update? Looks like what it is downloading is
irrelevant, therefore try asking a more appropriate board.

It is the windows update, but it is also the same on the office update. I am
not sure what you mean by asking a more appopriate board.

I mean if you ask in a message board such as microsoft.office.officeupdate
you may get people with more knowledge in this area.
