Installation keys

I bought a pair of Windows disks from a yard sale - Win 98SE (full, retail)
and Win2000 (same). Problem is, they don't have the installation key numbers
on the cases (probably replaced the jewel cases at some pt). I asked for
them, but they didn't have the numbers (obviously weren't planning to use
them, were they?) The CDs even had the license card (nice pretty green and
white papery thingy) with the product key with them - but not the
installation key.

I'm not in the middle of installing the software - but if i want to in the
future - how/where would I find a key to install the software?

You can get the keys to go with those CDs from the same individual from
whom you purchased the CDs, and no where else. If you bought CDs
without the accompanying Product Keys, all you have are too very
non-absorbent coasters.
