Installation error

hey
Ok i just bought Vista Home Premium, it installs fine until the Completing
process where in the range of 60%-70% done it restarts and then tries to boot
up Vista, where i get a quick flash of a BSOD and another restart. i disabled
the restart on error option and this is what i got: STOP: 0x0000007E
(0xC0000005, 0x81890762, 0x82EC4A68, 0x82EC4764) and thats it besides the
general warning of "if this is the first time seeing this, please restart." I
have tried installing Vista 3 times now... no sucess. (Im trying to install
it over XP Media Center Ed.) i really dont want to fresh install if i can
help it.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Processor 4600+
nVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS PCI-E
2048MB DDR
400GB HDD

Make sure you have uninstalled all a/v, firewall and other system monitoring
software before you start. Unplug all USB devices during the install, and
uninstalling the video driver would also be advisable to try.
