What would be causing this error? I am trying to install win2k/sp4 on an
older DEC Celebris dual processor machine. Previously I was running windows
98. I wanted to start with a clean slate so I formatted the drive to FAT32.
Scandisk says all is OK. If I sys c: from my floppy boot disk the PC will
boot fine to the c drive dos prompt. I've tried it with and without
"sys-ing" the drive but get the same results - all 4 boot floppies (built
from the CD) are read in and then when the message "preparing to start
windows 2000" (or words to that effect) appears on the status line I get a
blue STOP message telling me about the inaccessable boot device.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
