I was trying to find the date that I installed WinXP. I did find an
entry in the Registry, but it is just a large number. Maybe some
number of minutes from a base date? Can someone shed any light?

Thanks, jinbo

1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center".
2. Click on the Task titled: "Use Tools to view your computer information ..."
3. Click on "My Computer Information".
4. Click on "View the status of my system hardware and software".
5. The installation date of Windows XP is under the "Dated Created" heading.
