Installation attempt errors out

When I attempt to install XP Pro w SP2, I get messages that the following 4
files can't be copied:

nvatabus.sys
nvatabus.inf
ideoci.dll
nvata.cat

Skipping the files results in installation failure. The media appears to be
legitimate (matches appearance of an XP Pro w sp1 CD) and it came with a
product key and COA.
To test the CD drives, I began an install of XP Pro w sp1 which went smooth
(cancelling the install at the point where the product key was required),
thus it appears that the drives are OK.

Is there any work around for this problem?

Will MS replace the CD (assuming that it is a legitimate CD) if the vendor
refuses to replace it?

Thanks for any responses on this matter!

Appologies to those who took the time to read the initial post.

The problem was a raid feature in the system bios. Once it was disabled, XP
sp2 loaded without a problem.
