I have a sony vaio that came with a Toshiba BT stack. I want to install the
original XP BT stack. the BTH.inf file exists but the other bt files are
still in the .cab file. I think I extracted them all to the correct
directories but not sure. Extracted .dll's, .sys, and .cpl's to
windows/system32. What else do I have to do to get windows to recognize them
and install?
I have no Bluetooth Devices icon in the control panel and no services
running or even listed in the services mmc. What am I doing wrong? I did try
to r-click on the bth.inf and choose install and reboot. The add new
hardware wizard comes up, but when I point it to the bth.inf file, it comes
back with some error about the file doesn't contain information about your
hardware...
Any help please? Going nuts here
