I have a clean setup of Vista RC1 on ny computer. I'd like to install
XP on an external USB drive and keep Vista as it is. Is this possible
without damaging the Vista boot loader?

Best regards
Niklas

wrong.......

Not likely.

First of all, Windows XP will not install to a removable drive.

The proper procedures for installing multiple versions of Windows is
to:
1. Create a separate hard drive partition for each version of Windows
to install into.
2. Install the Windows version in age sequence with the oldest (in
yoru case XP) being installed first.

Good luck

Thanks for the answers. I suspected that too... :( I was hoping for
something else though.

Time for a format and reinstall of the Windows XP + Vista.
