HELP! I consider myself an intelligent human being, except when it comes to
computers. Please keep this in mind if you try to help me!
At work, they purchased for me a new Dell laptop computer. I am the only
person that uses it. One day, I came to work and for no apparent reason,
there was something on my screen about the install wizard is trying to
install a program (I think it says something about a Microsoft program) and
that I need to install the disk. I had not tried to install anything and have
no disk to insert. Now, all day, every day, this install wizard keeps popping
up telling me to insert a disk so it can install something. What the hell is
going on and how do I make it stop?!

Hello,

Given that this is a company / corporate setting, you likely should get help
from your system administrator and or tech support.
Next, you have to write down and provide the complete text in that
"message".

It may (or maybe not) have to do with some Automatic Update from Microsoft.
If so, I might suspect an update related to Microsoft Office.

Get that text, and if appropriate, I can give tips on stopping the update
attempt (if it /is/ related to Automatic or Windows Update).
