Install with Security Agent Status Enabled

Has anyone else ran into installation issues when
Microsoft's Spyware realtime protection is enabled?
Basically, whenever I try to uninstall/install ANYTHING,
it takes forever. Presumably because of registry
accesses. I'm running XP Professional, and I know it
doesn't happen on win2K.

Would be nice if Microsoft could fix this so I didn't
have to constantly turn it on and off!

Thanks for reporting this performance issue. It has been reported by
others, but not in large volume.
