At this point the best solution is to wipe out both the C: and D:
drives (format them) and then install Windows XP Home again, this time
on the C: drive. Make sure you back up your data files first.

Moving an installed copy of Windows to a different drive letter is
virtually impossible due to the vast number of registry entries,
shortcuts, etc. that have to be changed.

Good luck

Okay when I open My Computer it shows that i have two hard drives it show
that I have a local disk C File System: FAT32 with 30gb & that i have a local
disk D File System:NTFS with 2.73gb

I Open my pc case to removed the disconnet the hard drive D I don't see it i
only found the hard drive C. because it says 30gb i coulnt' find the drriver
with 2.73gb.
when i try booting to the windows xp it only shows local disk D to format
why dosen't it show the drive C?

Use Start - Run - DISKMGMT.MSC

Does it show Disk 0 with 2 partitions or does it show Disk 0 and Disk
1 with 1 partition each?

It actually shows that drive C & drive D are from location (0) 0

Okay. That means that your hard drive has been divided into 2
partitions at some point.

You should be able to do a clean install onto your drive C: by
following the instructions at
http://michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html

Then when that is finished and up and running you can format the D:
drive to get rid of the extraneous XP Home install.

Good luck
