Install upgrade on a second computer

I purchased and installed XP Professional approx 2 months
ago. The computer's hard drive developed a mechanical
problem and is most likely unrecoverable. I would like to
install the upgrade on another computer. What are my
options.

You'll still have to reactivate. If it won't do so over the internet,
you'll likely have to do it by phone. Explain the situation and they'll
issue you the matching activation code.
