Install sp's throught the network??

Hi,
do you know any way to install the sp's through the network (LAN), without
have to go pc by pc?
Someone had told me about SUS, but this one doesn't update sp's, another one
told me about a web server?
Do you known something about that or another way?
Thanks,
MB.

SUS can install service packs, as far as I know. You may also be able to do
it through GPOs.

Hmm - sorry, I was mistaken on the SPs. Too bad! It would be nice.

I don't know how you do the redirection on the client - check SUS help.
In the faq's about sus
(http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/windowsupdate/sus/susfaq.asp),
of the Microsoft, they say that that is not possible I would like to
try but I've another problem:
when I installed sus it "said" that I've to configure the automatic
update (in client) with the following address: http://nameofserver
How can I do that in the pc's? where do I configure this name,
because it search always for http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com .

The best way is probably via SMS server push if you have one.

GPO's should work also. It might get tricky if you have a different OS's
(XP,NT,98,2000). Might have to use GPO's with filtering.
